The chateau stands on the site of a 13th century castle. Only the castle tower has been preserved from that time. In the 17th century the castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau and in 1735 its Baroque reconstruction was completed. It has retained its Baroque character to the present day. The castle is set in a beautiful park of two and a half hectares up on the banks of the river. The entire property measures 27,000 square meters. The castle was fully renovated 20 years ago. It requires no repairs, only routine maintenance. The castle has gas central heating. Further information in the office.
