The castle is located in western Bohemia, near the road from Pilsen to Karlovy Vary. It was first mentioned in literature in the 12th century and rebuilt in 1788. In the courtyard there are buildings of a former brewery built in the first half of the 19th century, its equipment has not been preserved. The size of the castle is 2200 m2, the land is 2 ha. The roof was replaced in 2006, but apart from that the castle needs a complete renovation. It needs new electricity, water supply, heating, repairs, new windows, doors, new facade. The castle has an interesting central staircase with columns and a fresco. The castle and all the outbuildings are listed. The horse stable is in a relatively good condition. There is a water supply, gas and an electric transformer at the boundary of the property.
