This chateau is located in the Krusne Mountains (Erzgebirge) in the middle of a forest. The nearest town on the German side is Klingenthal. The chateau was built in the second half of the 18th century. At the end of the 19th century it was rebuilt in pseudo-Baroque style. The whole complex consists of a total of 6 buildings: the castle, caretaker's house, forsthaus, staff quarters, the chapel and a garage. In the last century the chateau was converted into an accommodation facility with kitchen, restaurant and guest rooms. Karlovy Vary are 25 km away. The property is surrounded by nice nature, a river flows below the chateau. The current owner is making new roofs on the chateau, they will be finished soon. The interior needs additional repairs. At present, the chateau is looked after by a caretaker who lives in a separate house on the grounds. Size of the plot of land is 2.2 hectars ( over 5 acres ).
